The Idrija Lace School is a recognisable and valued institution in the expert circles at home and abroad.

The visitors and participants of our various forms of education are acquainted with the importance of maintaining and developing knowledge, as well as the importance of education in the field of the Idrija lace as an important part of the Slovenian cultural heritage.

The mission of the school is to offer quality education in the field of lace-making, maintaining and developing the rich treasury of knowledge and consequentially raise the quality of the lace produced.
