»Children do it this way…« is the title of the annual lace exhibition of students. Every year in June we prepare the exhibition anew. In the time of the Idrija Lace Festival the visitors have the opportunity to vote for the most beautiful lace by their selection. At a public event we declare and award the maker of the most beautiful lace by votes of the visitors, a symbolic prize is also awarded to one of the voters.

We offer an expertly guided tour of the exhibition to the visitors, lace-making demonstration and the possibility of purchasing lace-making literature and a wide selection of quality handmade lace.

The opening hours of the exhibition in the summer are from 22th of June 2009 to 31th of August 2009 every day from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. During the Idrija lace festival exhibition is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

With the exception of the summer dates given the exhibition is open throughout the entire year in workdays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. For groups who notify us of their visit in advance the exhibition is also open at weekends and holidays. The entry fee for the exhibition is 2.5€ per person, for groups over 10 the entry fee is 2€ per person. The exhibition is held at Lace school of Idrija,Prelovčeva 2 . Free entry for: students of the Idrija Lace School and their Parents; children under 15 induvidually, for children groups entry fee is 2€.
