The dress was worn by Tjaša Marinko, at the Mrs. World contest which took place in March 2007 in Russia.

The dress was bought by Mestni muzej Idrija (The Town Museum Idrija).

The idea for shoes with Idrija lace comes from the considerations about merging the modern and traditional Slovenian cultural heritage of unique shoe design.

Being contemporary in the sense of modern shoe design which intertwines with the tradition of Idrija bobbin lace-making as a different interpretation of using lace in leather. The tenderness of the intertwining thread of the Idrija lace together with the compact and opaque leather.

These products are made with the cooperation of the Idrija Lace School which makes sure that ideas are transformed into lace-making patterns, made precisely by the shoe-making pattern, and transform the patterns into lace which find their place in the final design of the shoe.
