Half-day workshops of making Idrija Lace usually take place on Saturday mornings at special occasions such as:
– Easter Holidays (the workshop is held two weeks before Easter holidays),
-Idrija Lace Festival (the workshop is held on the third Saturday in June, it is the time of the Idrija Lace Festival which takes place in Idrija every third weekend in June),
– Christmas Holidays (the workshop takes place on the first or second Saturday in December).
For the workshops we try to prepare attractive patterns for making Idrija Lace. Skilled lacemaking teachers from Idrija Lace School, speaking Slovene or English language, will teach you how to make them.

This time we will make an interesting and useful piece of lace, which can be – made in your favourite colours – used as application on your clothes or fashion accesories.
You will be able to use it in so many ways as far as your imagination goes .
Join the adult workshop to add to your knowledge several techniques of Idrija Lace – we are certain that you will also enjoy in the company of other cheerful lacemakers. A basic knowledge of lacemaking is a necessary precondition to join, along with prior application.
